Am I the only person who has bad thoughts?
No! Everyone has intrusive thoughts, but the person who developed OCD has thoughts that get ‘stuck’. Intrusive thoughts are normal and very common so the difference between someone who is bothered by a thought, and someone who is not, lies in what they make of having the thought.
